SacristansList Item 1
Open and/or close the church for the liturgy; set up the needed items for the Mass or liturgy; with the assistance of EMHCs clean up after Mass.
Are to be chosen from those who possess the following characteristics:
- are fully initiated, active Catholics
- have been an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion
- have a deep love and reverence for the Holy Eucharist
- are able to be at church before and after Mass times
- are willing to undertake additional training and formation

Lectors/ReadersList Item 2
Proclaim the Word of God in the first and second readings; read the Prayers of the Faithful when there is no deacon. Are to be chosen from those who possess the following characteristics:
- are fully initiated and active Catholics
- have a special love and reverence for the Word of God
- have a willingness to study and pray over the sacred scriptures
- strive to live of the Word of God in their daily lives
- possess a good speaking voice
- are able to proclaim the readings before the assembly with clarity and authenticity
- have the requisite time to devote to preparing for this ministry
- are willing to undertake additional training and formation.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy CommunionList Item 4
Assist the priest and deacon in distributing the Body and Blood of Jesus in Holy Communion; assist the sacristan in cleaning up after Mass.
Are to be chosen from those who possess the following characteristics:
- are fully initiated, active Catholics;
- have a deep love and reverence for the Holy Eucharist;
- model in their lives love of God and love of neighbor;
- possess a good reputation;
- are willing to undertake additional training and formation.

Altar Servers
Participate in the entrance and recessional processions; assist the priest and Deacon during the Mass by holding the Roman Missal during times of prayer; preparing the altar for the Liturgy of the Eucharist; assisting the priest or deacon during baptisms and other special occasions.
are to be chosen from those who possess the following characteristics:
- are active Catholics who have made their First Communion and are in the fourth grade or older;
- have a strong desire to serve at the Altar of Our Lord Jesus Christ;
- are able to be alert and attentive to the Mass;
- are able to make a commitment to serve when scheduled;
- are willing to undertake additional training and formation

Ushers and Greeters
Greet parishioners as they arrive at Mass; assist parishioners with seating and other needs; take up the collection; distribute bulletins after Mass
- are active Catholics;
- are friendly and outgoing;
- are able to assist in emergencies
- are willing to undertake additional training.

Choir and Music
The main "“choir” of the church is the congregation. Everyone in the pews can join in music ministry by actively singing and participating in all the parts of the liturgy.
Choir
- Supports the congregation in the singing of songs and mass parts.
- Enhances the music of the Liturgy with harmonies and descants.
Instrumentalist
- Able to play their instrument with an intermediate or advanced level.
- Able to read intermediate or advanced level music.

Baptism Assistance
Meet the family of the child before the Mass to go over the ritual; set up the Baptismal Font and other needed items; assist the priest or deacon as needed during the baptism.
- are fully initiated, active Catholics;
- are able to be at Mass early to meet with the family and set up;

Funeral Assistance
Meet the family of the deceased before the Mass to go over the ritual; set up the needed items; assist the priest as needed during the funeral.
- are fully initiated, active Catholics;
- are able to be at Mass early to meet with the family and set up;
- usually a 3 hour commitment.

Church Decoration
Create an environment that enhances worship; maintains weekly flowers or other seasonal decorations; creates special decorations for major feasts such as Easter and Christmas.
- works with the Liturgy committee in planning major feasts

Church Cleaning
Help keep the church a welcoming environment for worship; cleaning crew comes after Thursday morning Mass twice a month.
