Dear Families,

This weekend we celebrate Father’s Day. I am so grateful for the strong influence of so many great men in our parish communities who care for their families in such loving, powerful ways. Our children need you to be a witness of your faith in the midst of your family and in our family of faith. We pray for our Dads this weekend (living and deceased) at all of our masses. Under the patronage of St. Joseph, may they continue to uphold the values of the Holy Family in all their interactions. I encourage all of our fathers to pray for their children. This is a special spiritual gift you can offer which is far above any material gifts you are able to provide.

Children (of any age), please pray for your fathers and grandfathers today. Offer them up to the Lord in a special way this Father’s Day. Ask our heavenly Father for his continued blessing upon all our Dads. May this day be filled with grace and mercy for all our Dads.

Queridas familias,

Este fin de semana celebramos el Día del  Padre. Estoy muy agradecido por la gran influencia de tantos hombres excepcionales en nuestras comunidades parroquiales que cuidan de sus familias con tanto amor y dedicación. Nuestros hijos necesitan que sean testigos de su fe en su familia y en nuestra familia de fe. Oramos por nuestros papás este fin de semana (vivos y difuntos) en todas nuestras misas. Bajo el patrocinio de San José, que sigan defendiendo los valores de la Sagrada Familia en todas sus interacciones. Animo a todos nuestros padres a orar por sus hijos. Este es un don espiritual especial que   pueden ofrecer, muy superior a cualquier don              material que puedan brindar.

Hijos/Hijas (de cualquier edad), por favor, oren hoy por sus padres y abuelos. Ofrézcanlos al Señor de una manera especial este Día del Padre. Pidan a nuestro Padre Celestial que siga bendiciendo a todos nuestros papás. Que este día esté lleno de gracia y misericordia para todos nuestros papás.

Cuối tuần này, chúng ta kỷ niệm Ngày của Cha. Tôi rất biết ơn vì ảnh hưởng mạnh mẽ của rất nhiều người đàn ông tuyệt vời trong cộng đồng giáo xứ của chúng ta, những người chăm sóc gia đình họ theo những cách yêu thương và mạnh mẽ như vậy. Con cái chúng ta cần bạn làm chứng cho đức tin của mình giữa gia đình và trong gia đình đức tin của chúng ta. Chúng ta cầu nguyện cho những người cha của chúng ta vào cuối tuần này (còn sống và đã khuất) trong tất cả các thánh lễ của chúng ta. Dưới sự bảo trợ của Thánh Giuse, xin họ tiếp tục duy trì các giá trị của Thánh Gia trong mọi tương tác của họ. Tôi khuyến khích tất cả những người cha của chúng ta cầu nguyện cho con cái của họ. Đây là một món quà tinh thần đặc biệt mà bạn có thể trao tặng, vượt xa bất kỳ món quà vật chất nào mà bạn có thể trao tặng.

Các con (ở mọi lứa tuổi), hãy cầu nguyện cho cha và ông của các con ngày hôm nay. Hãy dâng họ lên Chúa theo cách đặc biệt trong Ngày của Cha này. Hãy cầu xin Cha trên trời tiếp tục ban phước cho tất cả những người cha của chúng ta. Xin ngày này tràn đầy ân sủng và lòng thương xót cho tất cả những người cha của chúng ta.
